Rohde & Schwarz: attractive package pricing for complete solutions in entry-level test instruments

Rohde & Schwarz announced a first-of-its-kind promotion for its line of entry-level bench instrument solutions. From now on until December 31, 2019, the Rohde & Schwarz “Everything you need. And more.” package promotion offers a wide selection of the company’s entry-level instrument solutions, fully equipped, at an attractive price. On offer are Rohde & Schwarz oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies and power analyzers. Customers can maximize their investment up front, making the purchasing process easier to build up their bench. Designed with the high quality and precision that users have come to expect from Rohde & Schwarz, these instruments provide the performance needed for every day applications like EMI debug, power integrity, battery simulation, channel power, and low speed serial bus debug.

The entry-level line of oscilloscopes from Rohde & Schwarz come equipped with a logic analyzer, protocol analyzer, waveform and pattern generator, and voltmeter in the same instrument. Featuring the power of 10, the R&S RTB2000, R&S RTM3000 and the R&S RTA4000 include a class exclusive 10-bit analog-to-digital converter (A/D converter), the largest memory depth in the corresponding class and a 10.1-inch touchscreen offering the highest resolution in its class; 1280x800 pixel. The 10-bit A/D converter provides sharper waveforms and more signal details compared to conventional 8-bit A/D converters, yielding up to four-fold improvement. In addition, the R&S RTC1000 oscilloscope and the R&S Scope Rider RTH handheld oscilloscope are available as part of the promotion.

The R&S FPC1000 and R&S FPC1500 spectrum analyzers from Rohde & Schwarz deliver unexpectedly high performance for the entry class: Frequency ranges from 5 kHz to 1, 2, or 3 GHz; upgrade with just a keycode; large, high resolution display; remote control software options. The R&S FPC1500 does more than spectrum analysis – it offers the Value of Three: spectrum analysis, plus one-port vector network analysis, plus signal generator functionality. The unique independent source principle provides standard tracking generator functionality, and can also be used in free or coupled CW modes.

The power supplies R&S HMP4040, R&S NGE100B and R&S NGL200 as well as the power analyzer R&S HMC8015 are also available as part of the promotion. The power supplies from Rohde & Schwarz offer two, three or four channels with up to 32V or 10A per channel. With all channels being galvanically isolated and electrically equivalent, each channel can be regarded as a separate power supply. Parallel and serial operation can be used to achieve higher voltages or currents. Protection functions, advanced programmable features and a wide variety of remote interfaces complete the user experience.

The R&S HMC8015 power analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz is a compact tester for AC/DC load and standby current characterization that enables measurements without additional tools such as a computer or remote infrastructure. In addition to a numerical and graphical display with 26 key parameters, the instrument delivers performance and compliance protocols in line with IEC 62301, EN 50564 and EN 61000-3-2.
