A portfolio of tools to provide all the elements required to create an integrated tool chain - from initial specification through to life cycle management – has been assembled specifically for this demanding area of engineering.
Tools available include requirements capture for IEC 61508, EN 50128 IEC26262 and nuclear applications, Do178 and SIL3 RTOS and compiler validation reports. Consultants have experience working on automotive, rail and aerospace applications, meeting standards such as IEC 61508 SIL4, and D0178B. Backing these is a wide range of other relevant embedded tools, including compilers, static code checkers, unit and dynamic test, RTOS, File systems, CAN, Mod-bus, USB and TCP/IP stacks, development kits, debuggers and ICEs.
Many of the tools and middleware components are validated against 61508, Do178, 26262 and are MISRA-C complaint
Resources include a growing library of application notes for specific tools and broader documentation on aspects of developing safety-critical and high-integrity products.
Independent advice is strengthened by the company’s founder being an active participant in several standards bodies, including ISO C, C++ and IEC 61508-3, and a principal author of MISRA-C:2004 and MISRA C:2012.
