Sunlight Readable
A "Sunlight Readable" LCD is a LCD screen which can be viewed directly under sunlight. The brightness of a "Sunlight Readable" LCD is supposed to be over 1000 nits (or cd/m2). NAVPIXEL series integrates this special technology to be able to present the clearest picture and assist you in making the best decision during your cruise.

Low Power Consumption and Wide Temperature Range
To present a better working efficiency, some Litemax industrial solutions take LED backlight LCD panels for many features. In addition to the main feature - no mercury, LED backlight panels have more advantages such as wide operation temperature range (-20℃ ~ 60℃) and lower power consumption (up to 70K hours). Those are great benefit to marine applications.

IP68/65 Waterproof
In the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) 60529 Standards document, it specifies an international classification system for the sealing effectiveness of enclosures of electrical equipment against the intrusion into the equipment of foreign bodies and moisture. This classification system utilizes the letters "IP" ("Ingress Protection") followed by two digits.

The first digit of the IP code indicates the degree that persons are protected against contact with moving parts (other than smooth rotating shafts, etc.) and the degree that equipment is protected against solid foreign bodies intruding into an enclosure. Second digit indicates the degree of protection of the equipment inside the enclosure against the harmful entry of various forms of moisture (e.g. dripping, spraying, submersion, etc.).
Based on the reference, IP65 means Dust-tight and Protected against low-pressure jets from all directions - limited ingress permitted. IP68 means Dust-tight and Protection against complete, continuous submersion in water from 15 meters or 50 feet. Moreover, IP68 is also the highest one in this standard.

Wide Dimming
The “Wide Dimming” technology provides the wider brightness adjustment level to meet variety of requirements. Through the user-friendly VR knob, people can adjust the dimming ratio from 0% to 100%. The high sensitivity and complete adjustment design make LITEMAX industrial solutions to meet different workplace requests.

Combining the sunlight readable LED backlight LCD panel with the “Wide Dimming” technology, LITEMAX industrial application solutions can offer a crisp and excellent contrast image for many marine applications.

Optical Bonding To enhance the contrast ratio and to reduce refection, LITEMAX LCD panels can take AOT (Advanced Optibond Technology) to overcome many optical challenges. In a wide assortment for many applications, the exclusive glass bonding process can result in a reduction of ambient light reflections truly to present better visual display. In addition, the technology can absorb vibration to enhance the strength of LITEMAX LCD panels as well.

AR Safety Glass
Taken special Anti-reflective (AR) coatings, many LITEMAX industrial applications can present better display performance. Anti-reflective (AR) coating is a type of optical coating applied to the surface of lenses and other optical devices to reduce reflection. This improves the efficiency of the system since less light is lost. The reduction in reflections also improves the contrast of the image by elimination of stray light. In marine applications, the technology will approve more elegant visual performance and safer working process.

Touch Screen
A touchscreen is a display which can detect the presence and location of a touch within the display area. LITEMAX digital signage or marine application panels can take “Resistive Touch” or “Infrared (IR) Touch” to contribute a more intuitive environment.

A resistive touchscreen panel is composed of several layers. The most important are two thin metallic electrically conductive and resistive layers separated by thin space. When some object touches this kind of touch panel, the layers are connected at certain point; the panel then electrically acts similar to two voltage dividers with connected outputs. This causes a change in the electrical current which is registered as a touch event and sent to the controller for processing. The Nintendo DS is an example

On the other hand, Infrared technology uses infrared emitter-collector pairs to project an invisible grid of light a small distance over the surface of the screen. When a beam is interrupted, the absence of the signal at the collector is detected and converted to an X/Y touch coordinate. IR touch technology also offers the best transparency than other touchscreen technology.

Fanless Design
To decrease the power consumption and to keep a water-tight working system, many of LITEMAX industrial display and IPC solutions take fanless design to add the operation stability for marine application. In other harsh working environment, the fanless design can ensure the stability of working system as well.

Ruggedized Design
LITEMAX embedded IPC series takes a special aluminum chassis to construct the strong mechanical design. To offer the safest and most stable embedded system, standards of vibration and shock resistant of LITEMAX IPC series are below:.Anti-Vibration: 5 grms / 5~500Hz / random operation
.Anti-Shock: 50g peak acceleration (11 msec. in duration)

Fanless Design LITEMAX embedded controller series comes housed in an extremely compact aluminum chassis that can provide great protection from shock, vibration, dust, cold and heat. Through the cooling technology development, LITEMAX embedded controllers can present higher working efficiency with no fan. The features of “Fanless Design” are below:

Stackable Chassis Design
Because of the special “Stackable Chassis Upgrade Design”, customers can choose suitable faceplates for different industrial applications. For example, the two stacks LITEMAX embedded controller can install four COM ports; the three stacks can expand more PCI ports. In addition, because of the expansion of the space, more components can be optional installed into your controller.
