Computer On Modules
Computer-on-Modules (COMs) are highly integrated component SBCs that support system expansion and application-specific customization. The CPU module delivers the core functionality while all of the application-specific features are designed into the baseboard creating a semi-custom embedded solution. Customers don’t need to worry about the complex design of the COM, instead freeing them to concentrate on their core business. The CPU modules are available in different COM Express™ compatible form factors like COM Express ™ basic / ETXexpress ® , COM Express ™ compact / microETXexpress ® , nanoETXexpress a ultra small COM as well as ETX ® form factor.
AdvancedTCA
AdvancedTCA (ATCA) is the new standard for telecom applications bringing the features of proprietary architectures and the CompactPCI standard with his high packing density and RAS (reliability, availability, serviceability) together.

AdvancedMC (AMC) is the PCI Industrial Computer Manufacturers Group's specification (PICMG AMC.0 , AMC.1, AMC.2, AMC.3 and AMC.4 respectively) for hot-swappable and field-replaceable mezzanine cards.
MicroTCA
MicroTCA (Micro Telecommunications Computing Architecture) is a PICMG standard for open modular systems based on AMCs (Advanced Mezzanine Cards). Designed to address high communication bandwidth, high processing capacity and high availability requirements, MicroTCA platforms have enough bandwidth for the most challenging applications. MicroTCA offers designers a wide range of options by allowing full redundant systems, partially redundant systems and systems with no redundancy at all. VPX (VITA 46) – OpenVPX (VITA65)
OpenVPX™ is the architecture framework that defines system level VPX interoperability for multi-vendor, multi-module, integrated system environments. The OpenVPX framework defines clear interoperability points necessary for integration between Module to Module, Module to Backplane and Chassis. OpenVPX recommends, but does not specify development systems to assist evaluation, prototype and development of VPX systems. OpenVPX will evolve and include new fabric, connector and system technology as newer standards are defined.

Industrial PC - Rackmount, KVM
Kontron offers a large array of Intel® based rack mount platforms around Quad Core architectures: passive backplane (SBC) and motherboard. Many additional features like KISS Stor storage solutions, or PCCM Condition Monitoring Software turn the Kontron Rackmount IPCs to solutions for various applications . The benefits of the passive backplane are its ability to support a greater number and combination of ISA / PCI / PCI express expansion slots (up to 14) and to offer longer life cycles, which can be greater 5 years. With its impressive multi-core performance and ultra quiet operation (<35 dB), the Kontron KISS family is not only predestined for data intensive applications such as those found in test and measurement or industrial and medical image processing, but is also the ideal server for control rooms and engineering offices.

Machine-to-Machine
In the years to come most electronic devices will connect to the Internet. Analysts estimate that tens of billions of devices will communicate in this decade. By deploying smart services on the machine-to-machine devices OEMs will be able to expand their solutions to meet these new market opportunities. Developers of the emerging smart services need a simple, yet powerful M2M device to test their application’s connectivity and performance. OEMs can reduce time-to-market by using Kontron’s M2M Smart Services Developer Kit, which was co-developed with Intel.
The Kontron M2M System works out of the box on Wi-Fi and is 802.15.4 ready. 3G WWAN is either installed or can be easily enabled by dropping–in a pre-certified PCI Express mini card module and SIM for 3G/4G for wireless connectivity application testing. The external USB ports allow easy use of M2M SDKs. There is ample storage space for M2M smart service applications, middleware and OS on the internal microSD card and by using the externally accessible microSD slot. With a built-in accelerometer, dual HDMI and HD audio support, Kontron’s M2M System enables both movement tracking as well as A/V intensive smart services applications.
Server Board
Kontron adds a server class category to its already extensive portfolio of embedded and standard motherboard products, and feature long-life embedded server processors from Intel. These server boards are ideal for medical imaging, simulation, storage and multimedia telecom and data center markets. They also offer leading-edge remote management tools with support for KVM and VM over IP for real time access.
