HABEY: embedded PC with rugged aluminum enclosure and fanless design

HABEY introduces the BIS-6630 compact fanless embedded PC developed around the Intel Atom N2800 (1.83 GHz)/ D2700 (2.13 Ghz) with unparalleled power-performance efficiency at 12W and coming at a size of 7.5”x7.5”x2.5”. The BIS-6630 Cedar Trail embedded system offers continual connectivity with 6 USBs, 6 COM ports, 2 Gigabit Ethernet, 1 SIM socket for 3G/4G connectivity, WiFi option via 2 Mini-PCIe slots, 1 VGA, 1 DVI-D at up to 1920 x 1080, internal 18-bit LVDS at up to 1366 x 768 resolution, HD Audio, 2.5” SATA drive bay and mSATA option, 12VDC power input, and support for Windows 7 Embedded, Windows 7, Meego, and  future Linux systems. The BIS-6630’s fanless, rich with I/Os, easy access drive bay design make it perfect for digital signage, building automation, NVR, point-of-sales, and other embedded and industrial applications.

The Intel Atom D2700 is equipped with a PowerVR SGX545 GPU clocked at 640MHz. The SGX545 is the next generation of GPU’s following the iPad 2 GPU’s from PowerVR. The Stunning integrated graphics improves graphics by 60% better than previous Atoms and decodes a variety of video at full HD with formats (MP4, H.264, and WMV9) displaying riveting visual quality. The BIS-6630 embedded PC comes both with DVI-D and VGA display options for a more secured connection while displaying up to 1920x1080 on screen resolution. The BIS-6630’s rugged aluminum enclosure and fanless design is built to withstand extreme conditions thanks to lower heat dissipation and a solution for 24/7 applications. The new enclosure design adopts Habey’s same-form factor fit all approach, meaning one system that fits all standard mini-ITX boards. With customizable front IO and a back plate space of 2.5” x 7” for adding more flexibility in placement of I/Os, the BIS-6630 case allows for onboard pin connectors (i.e. COM, USB)  to be routed out to offer greater scalability. In addition, the dual mini-PCIe slots give expansions to TV-tuners, Hardware decoders, 3G/4G modules, and much more.
