IPC2U introduces ICES 267S High-End Computer-On-Module, which is based on the PICGM COM.0 Rev 1.0 specification. This module can be equipped with a powerful Intel Core i7/i5/i3 Quad-Core CPU. Combined with the QM67 PCH chipset, the Intel HD graphic card with the DirectX 11 interface as well as with up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, the module develops remarkable performance particularly in graphic applications. ICES 267S shows considerable power, which can be successfully used in automation, medical area, advertising, surveillance, retail, military or governance.
The second gen Intel Core CPUs delivers up to 20% higher total and up to 30% better graphic performance as previous generation with low power consumption. At the same time the module allows playback with the resolution up to 2048 x 1536 pixels, going beyond the conventional 1920 x 1080 HD resolution. The ICES 267S supports a wide display range via 18/24-bit LVDS single/ dual channel as well as VGA. Furthermore, the Computer-On-Module supports SDVO (Serial Digital Video Out), which allows digital signal transmission to connect a DVI and HDMI display.
Despite compact size of 95mm x 125mm (W x L) the ICES possesses a lot of interfaces such as 8x USB 2.0, LAN, 3x SATA, GPIO, IDE as well as HD audio. Also, with 1x PCIe x4, 2x PCIe x1 and 1x PCI there are many slots for Add-Ins cards onboard. The Computer-on-Module works between -15 and +60°C and is a well-suitable solution for multimedia applications such as gaming, interactive kiosk systems, all-in-one computer and digital signage systems.
