MicroSys implements customer specific control and HMI devices rapidly, for rugged and harsh environments, if needed. Certification and SW services and long term supply is provided as additional offering. Basis is the wide spectrum of miriac MPX System on Modules and SBCs utilizing Freescales Power Architecture/QorIQ, ARM Cortex and X86/Intel Atom CPUs. The miriac HMI1022 HMI device carries Freescale QorIQ CPUs in combination with miriacMPX SoMs. In the current version it is a P1022 CPU. The devices are highly integrated. They offer already in its standard configuration a set of I/O functions that fit numerous typical HMI applications right out of the box. Custom variants are available rapidly. The HMI1022 offers RS232/485, USB, 2xLAN, CAN, SD-Card (intern), RFID, optional a SATA- interface and/or a SPI extension. A very wide use spectrum for embedded applications is already covered with this group of basic I/O functions.
Various board support packages and middleware tools are available to address market specific requirements. For ex-ample, field bus solutions (e.g. CAN, EtherCAT, Profinet) embedded graphics (e.g. XiBase9, Qt) or Soft-PLCs (sup-porting e.g. IEC 61131-3) for control applications can be provided on request. The system holds a high resolution 15” 4 wire LED backlight touch display. It is operated by a QorIQ P1022 Dual Core CPU with on chip graphics @600 MHz – 1055 MHz. The HMI1022 offers up to 2 GB DDR2 and 512 MB NAND flash memory.Suitable operating systems are Linux, VxWorks, Microware OS-9, MicroC/OS-II or QNX. The system is designed for harsh environments and versions for extended temperature are available on request.
