MSC: AMLD-Z LED drivers meet EN 55015 and EN 61547

MSC now offers Aimtec’s AMLD-Z series of DC/DC LED drivers that now boasts the CE mark of conformity for electrical lighting standards EN 55015 (internationally known as CISPR 15) and EN 61547. These standards address interference by limiting radio disturbances and electromagnetic compatible as it relates to EMC immunity requirements respectively, both of which are important electrical safety issues. The AMLD-Z series models, built in a 24pin DIP package, feature an ultra-wide (8:1) input range of 7 VDC to 60 VDC and deliver an output power from 6 W to 48 W with an efficiency as high as 97%. The devices generate a closely regulated constant output current ranging from 150 mA to 1000 mA without derating from -40 to +85 °C.

Remote on/off control, continuous open and short circuit protection and both PWM as well as analog voltage dimming control (0 – 100%) make the AMLD-Z series LED drivers the perfect solution for lighting systems that operate from batteries or other low voltage DC sources. The new LED driver AMLD-Z series of Aimtec are now available from MSC.
