Eurotech Subsidiary Parvus announced its successful certification to AS9100 Rev C. Encompassing all ISO 9001:2008 quality management requirements, AS9100 Rev C specifies additional requirements for aviation, space, and defense organizations. Parvus first earned its AS9100 Rev B Certification in December 2010 and elected to upgrade to Rev C to meet the industry's newest and highest standards of quality. The new Accredited ISO registrar Eagle Registrations Inc. assessed Parvus and found it in full compliance with this globally recognized quality standard.
The quality management standard for the aerospace industry, AS9100 is designed to meet stringent, complex and unique demands of the defense and commercial aerospace industry. Additional requirements were added to the AS9100 Rev C standard to emphasize the importance of supplier selection, project management, risk management, configuration management and ensure better control of work transfers and critical items. Regular audits are conducted by an independent certification body to ensure that Parvus products are designed and manufactured using sound, repeatable processes and that customer satisfaction remain a primary concern.
