Atollic announces its TrueSTUDIO for ARM C/C++ development tool now supports the Giant Gecko and Leopard Gecko series of ARM-based microcontroller devices from Energy Micro. Atollic TrueSTUDIO now supports all currently available Energy Micro EFM32 Cortex-M3 families, including 160 devices in the Tiny Gecko, Gecko, Giant Gecko and Leopard Gecko families. The Atollic TrueSTUDIO project wizard can auto-generate example projects for Energy Micro EFM32 evaluation boards, providing a true “out-of-the-box” experience that enables developers to quickly get up-and-running with new C/C++ projects on Energy Micro EFM32 boards.
Atollic TrueSTUDIO development and debugging tool t offers a state-of-the-art editor, an optimizing C/C++ compiler and a multiprocessor-aware debugger with real-time tracing. The tool suite offers advanced features including ARM build and debug tools, system analysis and real-time tracing using Serial Wire Viewer technology, and graphical-UML diagram editors for model-based design and architecture. TrueSTUDIO also offers multiple advanced features, such as: an ECLIPSE™-based IDE with a state-of-the-art editor; x86 C/C++ build and debug tools for development of PC command-line applications; parallel compilation and multiprocessor debugging; and integrated version-control system client with revision graph visualization, enabling easy tracing of the history of code additions and revisions. Additionally, TrueSTUDIO includes an integrated client for accessing popular bug databases like Trac and Bugzilla, and it includes integrated features for performing source code reviews and code review meetings too.
