BCM launches IXBDN series of Mini-ITX motherboards

BCM launches the IXBDN Series Mini-ITX motherboard. With Intel D510 processor and ICH9R chipset solution, solid RAID performance and security, BCM IXBDN has excellent performance at SATA function. The recent eSATA and Intel Matrix Storage Technology functions are enabled by onboard Intel ICH9R for advanced data storage and data protection functions. Embedded with RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10 function, IXBDN family also ensures smart data protection function at the same time.  The D510 dual core processor provides high performance among low power platform. IXBDN-D510 with dual DDR2 800 memory via DIMM slots ensures uncompromised performance.

BCM IXBDN-D510 can switch to D410 or N450 processor onboard for fanless or even lower power scenario. By adding a Mini card via the Mini PCI-E slot, BCM IXBDN-D510 is enabled with upgraded video playback function to Full HD performance. Onboard 2 RS-232 COM ports and 16-bit programmable Digital I/O support various embedded applications possible. According to DMASS (Distributors’ and Manufacturers’ Association of Semiconductor Specialists),  looks 2010 like the all-time record year for European semiconductor distribution – only one year after a recession.
