E.E.P.D. introduces the new PROFIVE F12 single board computer with latest dual-core Intel Atom processor D510. The entire board is designed for fanless operation in applications such as industrial control, digital signage or other complex embedded applications. The new Intel Embedded Flexible Design allows a single board solution to be scaled into multiple applications. To suit various needs and different demands of applications the PROFIVE F12 is available as a high-performance version with an Atom processor D510 or as an entry level version with the single-core Atom processor N450.
A wide input voltage range from 8V to 32V allows a very flexible operation. Two RS-232 ports, two RS-422 ports and up to seven USB host ports are onboard. Furthermore two SATA ports, one Gigabit Ethernet port and the 18-bit single channel LVDS interface with backlight control are part of the feature set.
Additional features are the Analog VGA CRT connector, an audio interface with headphone support and two PCI Express Mini Card sockets. To extend the board’s application range it is equipped with two CAN bus ports. The board-to-board connector offers versatile extensions through an optional extension board.
