IBASE reveals its latest fanless MI888 Mini-ITX motherboard based on a two-chip platform with either the single core Intel Atom processor N450 or the dual core Intel Atom processor D510. These latest Intel Atom processors are integrated with both a memory controller and an IGP graphics core, significantly cutting down board space to create more flexible and stylish designs. Supporting 200MHz of GPU frequency, the MI888 performs, using low power consumption, better hardware decode on graphics intensive and multimedia applications for the digital signage, medical, POS/kiosk or gaming industry.
The MI888 features a single-channel DDR2 integrated memory controller and display interfaces for VGA CRT and 18-bit single channel LVDS output. The comprehensive I/O includes eight USB ports, two serial ATA ports, four COM ports, 5.1CH high-definition audio, CF socket and PCI-E Gigabit LAN connectivity. Additional expansion is achieved with one Mini PCI-E, PCI-E(x1) and PCI slots.
