Swissbit: industrial DDR3 unbuffered ECC SO-DIMM family

Swissbit announces the latest additions to its INDUSTRIAL family of SDRAM memory modules, the DDR3 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB unbuffered Small Outline DIMMs. All modules in this storage family provide ECC support to aid in the correction of single bit errors potentially caused by electrical or magnetic interference and/or background radiation. For this purpose an additional DDR3 SDRAM containing eight  data lines has been added. Availability of these modules are in both commercial 0 to +85°C and industrial -40 to +95°C temperature grades allowing for further flexibility in its operating environment where cooling resources may be limited.

Swissbit’s DDR3 204-pin 72-bit unbuffered ECC SO-DIMMs are a perfect choice for the next generation (Intel Calpella based) industrial and embedded systems or any DDR3 application that requires an unbuffered, ECC capable memory module in a small outline format. The ECC SO-DIMMs are fully compatible with JEDEC electrical and mechanical specifications and are available in speeds of PC3-10600 1333Mbit, PC3-8500 1066Mbit, or PC3-6400 800Mbit.
